We understand that our clients entrust us to protect and advance their business.  This is a great honor and responsibility.  To memorialize our commitment to our clients and the legal profession, we have adopted these six governing principles.

Service:

We are committed to provide our clients with a level of service that is noticeably better than that provided by our competitors.  As one example of our commitment to client service, we collect and maintain secure file information, “real time”, in a centralized database so that our staff is best able to provide detailed answers to your questions.  Because our lawyers are often in court, we encourage you to contact our office staff with your questions.  In the event that our office staff cannot provide an adequate answer, they can assure that one of our lawyers will  respond promptly.  In the event that the lawyer cannot take your call, we will return the call no later than the end of the following business day.

Credibility:

Our lawyers are driven to understand every nuance and detail of the substantive law, civil procedures, rules and regulations governing collections and contract litigation.  We also work very hard to be effective educators and communicators of this knowledge.  By dedicating much of our time lecturing at seminars and authoring materials on this subject, we have established a reservoir of legitimacy with the bench and bar that we believe benefits us throughout negotiation and litigation.

Security:

We believe that process is more important than outcome.  We have developed a comprehensive collections and litigation process that has proven to prevent errors or omissions in our handling of your claim, to improve recovery and, when necessary, to speed our race to judgment.  Our procedure is constantly being evaluated to ensure compliance with the volumes of federal and state procedures, rules and regulations.  If outcome drives the process, then there may be temptations to take unnecessary risks which may jeopardize your claim.  By relying upon our comprehensive process, you can be confident that our efforts are compliant with any of the regulations governing our collections.  We utilize some of the industry’s most robust technology to ensure prompt, accurate and secure information.  We strictly rely upon automation to ensure that our staff honors calendared events (ex.– periodic status reports to clients or follow up on debtor promises) and deadlines.

Honor:

Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines attorney as  “one who is legally appointed to transact business on another’s behalf.”  As the agent empowered to transact business for our clients’, we are sensitive to the fact that everything we do is a reflection on our clients.  Therefore, we strive to be prepared, professional and impressive in everything we do.

Decency:

We will not threaten, intimidate nor harass any opposing party.  We don’t need to.  We are fully aware of the tools provided to us under the law and we remain confident in our ability to utilize them effectively.

Professionalism:

Everyone at F+A is committed to civility, justice and the rule of law.
